Having Fun!

I am anticipating leaving this Wednesday to visit grandchildren.  SO much fun!  I am looking through a few past photos to help me get ready…..MEMORIES….

Letting the girls play dress up and do whatever they wanted to with me…

Taking the older kids to the water park “Wet and Wild”.  As we left, we were stamped by the park employees in case we wanted to return that same day.  I expected a small smiley face stamped on my hand.  Here’s what I got…

A huge “WILD” stamped the full length of my forearm.  Just how I wanted my grandchildren to remember me!

Another memory…retirement party for “Papa” with a house full of adults and kids wall to wall.  I promise it was a decent, upright sort of party, full of good clean “family fun”.  Yet, here is the view of the patio out my back window the next morning when I opened the blinds….

Then, after a week packed full of all this fun, I am driving three of the grandkids to the airport.  I am still energized from such a fun, wild, crazy week.  One glance into my rear view window…

I love them all SO much….can’t wait til Wednesday!

  1. Love the pictures and knowing you get to enjoy your grands so much. Nothing like them in the whole world. I leave in a few minutes to go to Austin to be with first grader, Taylor, and eat lunch with her for Grandparents Day. I’m so excited but dreading it because I have the beginnings of a bladder infection and I know I will be miserable by the time I return home after our lunch together. I have a ’64 Girls Night Out tonight and hoping to see my Urologist when I hit town this afternoon to get my sulpha script to obliterate this darn infection. CRAZY & WILD, right? Worth all the pain. Have a great day and enjoy your grands! Hope this finds Bill doing much, much better.

    Love, Barbara
